New Look Lazy Weekends

Weekends are the perfect excuse to kick back and indulge in laziness – and thankfully that doesn’t mean having to lounge about in your scruffiest PJ’s anymore. Instead, pamper yourself with maximum comfort in cute and quirky style. Onesies and teddies are perfect to keep you toasty while you catch up on your favourite soaps, while comfy tee dresses give an easy polished look for when you absolutely need to venture out. Check out our top style picks for the ultimate lazy weekend.

Cute and flirty all in ones

What can be better for comfort than the all in one? The surprising trend that’s exploded all over the place – as celebs, MPs and us lesser mortals all confess to loving their onesie, it’s time to get kitted out with one, if you haven’t already. With a great range of styles around – from whimsical and playful animal outfits, to slubby-chic in soft tones and even softer fabrics, the onesie is your style investment in luxurious comfort.

Top styling picks for this trend include the cute paisley print all in one – with a dainty and delicate print, this looks cute and feminine. For a play on another major trend this season, you can’t go wrong with the NERD emblazoned all in one – with slogans and typographics making a big splash, these brings the look into the fashionable stakes.

The perfect teddy

For a touch of romance or for total cosiness, the teddy promises a truly relaxed time. Sweet, delicate and utterly dainty, a teddy is the ideal nighttime outfit for PJ parties with the girls. We love this pretty lilac number – with a faint geometric print, it looks stylish and classic. In soft, light cotton, this will be a firm favourite in summer – especially when it comes to lounging about on lazy Sundays with breakfast in bed (hopefully!) just add super snuggly sheepskin boots and you’re good to go!

Weekend brunch style

Weekend brunch means you’ve got to drag yourself out – but that doesn’t mean you have to lose the comfort factor. Keep things easy and relaxed by opting for loose, light layers – a pair of leggings layered over with a loose tee dress, light as air cardi and a biker jacket to add toughness and texture. Or if you can’t face changing, stick to your onesie and add a cool, slouchy cardigan on top to make your look brunch-ready – we love contrasting a sweet heart print onesie with a Scandi style Fair Isle knit. Finish off the look with an off-duty-model style beanie, a wave of mascara and a slick of lip gloss – and of course the requisite ankle boots – and voila! You’ll look laidback and polished without making any effort at all.

I love this idea of having lazy days whilst looking cute, do you enjoy lounging in your onesie or enjoy dressing up?
